Excel does not excel
I am not a fan of Excel.
Computational Archaeology describes computer-based analytical methods for the study of long-term behavioural interactions. It is mainly focused on mathematical methods, that can not be performed without a computer. Agent-based models, statistics or geospatial systems are all part of Computational Archaeology.
