The first Structure from Motion session in the Egyptology Department was a full success and all four objects are online right now. They are composed of a mummy mask and three figurines.

The first session of recording objects of the Egyptology department is now completed and visible online. You’ll find the collection below. The very fragile mummy mask was the most difficult to create, but I think the result is quiet good. The rest of the objects (three figurines) are quite well reconstructed and we are happy with the results.

We will continue recording objects from the Egyptology department and next time focus our attention on the pottery they have stored. We are testing a new way of recording especially pottery with Structure from Motion and will report on this the next time.
