About the Author

My name is Ertan. I am employed as lead of digital archaeology by the city of Cologne, Germany. My special interests include digital cultural heritage, GIS, linked data, 3D modelling of archaeological objects, and Python. I work with a small, dedicated team to research, record, and publish the field data from urban archaeology in Cologne. Networking and open data in cultural heritage are very important to me.
